為歡慶新加坡建國53年，范少華舉行個展“追憶獅城：范少華水墨精選”，展出25幅水墨畫，回顧往昔的風土民情，並呈現今天的城市景觀。

畢業於廣州美術學院油畫系，移居新加坡26年的范少華（53歲），熱衷於對荷花的形象探索，以擬人化手法呈現。這次他去採濱海灣金沙藝術科學博物館，作了幾幅水墨畫，該館宛如一朵碩大的荷花，點綴了濱海河畔與中央商業區摩天大樓，呈現城市國家穩定繁榮的景象。

范少華去年為新加坡國民服役50週年舉行的“國民服藝”聯展呈現的三幅大型作品，這次也會展出。

范少華曾在香港、韓國首爾、日本大阪、廣東美術館、上海美術館、中國美術館、新加坡南洋藝術學院、上海朵雲軒藝術中心舉行個展。

In celebration of Singapore’s 53rd National Day, Fan Shao Hua is holding a solo exhibition titled Reminiscing the Lion City: Selected Ink Works by Fan Shao Hua, showcasing 25 ink paintings. These works reflect the past local customs and present the contemporary cityscape

Fan Shao Hua (53), who graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and has lived in Singapore for 26 years, is passionate about exploring the image of the lotus flower, often using personification in his portrayal. For this exhibition, he took inspiration from the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands, creating several ink paintings of the structure, which resembles a large lotus flower adorning the Marina Bay waterfront alongside the skyscrapers of the Central Business District, symbolizing the nation's stability and prosperity.

Three of Fan Shao Hua’s large works, previously exhibited in last year’s National Service Art Exhibition, commemorating the 50th anniversary of National Service in Singapore, will also be displayed in this show.

Fan Shao Hua has held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Seoul, Osaka, the Guangdong Museum of Art, the Shanghai Art Museum, the National Art Museum of China, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, and the Duoyunxuan Art Center in Shanghai.
